Fraser's Hill's attraction is the diversity of flora and fauna found within the undisturbed virgin tropical rain forest. At about 1,200 metres above sea leavel, the forest has many species that resembles subtropical vegetation.
Animals diversity still remains in the area especially where insects and birds are concerned. Larger animals like the tiger Panthera tigris, has been last sighted in November 2005.
Fraser's Hill is a Nature Reserve. That means it is prohibited to kill any animal or plant or to collect, harvest any animal or plant or their parts, whether dead or alive from the reserve.
Please be guided more so by the need to conserve these natural resources for future generations instead of the punitive measures that the law imposes.
